It's been a looooooong time since I have made any alterations to the site. Sorry John, I'll do some new things
and hopefully stay focused for now on.

This page would not be complete without mention of the New York Mets and my main meat, Meat Loaf.
The Mets made history last Fall by losing a 7-8 game lead. So far relatively few major moves this winter.
In Omar I trust, but we'd better get a top-line pitcher.

More Passion
I have been lucky enough to accumulate a couple of old cars. The first and the most sentimental is the
1962 Plymouth Belvedere 4-door sedan with around 19,000 original miles on her. Nancy, my wife, actually got her
for me and she is practically flawless. Second is my newest car, a 1967 Chrysler Newport convertible. She needs
some work and will tear into it in the Spring, but I bought her mostly to cruise in, not show.
The cars are all in hibernation but have been started periodically this winter to keep 'em all greased up. Below
is a link to one of the area Car Show DJ'S and he conveniently lists all of the upcoming car shows. Stop by if you around
and check out the beautiful old-tin that still ply the roads in Illinois. Also check out the WIAAC link.
I have been a member of this Car Club for almost 15 years. Lots of nice people who enjoy old cars. I also assist
in the organization of the Railroad Days Car Show in Standish Park in Galesburg on the last Sunday in June every year.
